With over 23 years of experience in the hospitality industry. From starting as a gym instructor to becoming a General Manager with Marriott International, my journey has taken me across a diverse range of hotel environments, from coastal resorts to prestigious golf destinations, each sharpening my leadership, operational, and strategic skills.

During my 18 years with Marriott, I developed a deep understanding of hotel operations and guest experience, leading high-performing teams and driving measurable improvements across service quality, profitability, and compliance. My leadership approach balances strategic foresight with an attention to detail, ensuring consistent excellence in health and safety, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

A driving force throughout my career has been my commitment to sustainability. I’ve successfully led multiple hotels to achieve Green Key and Audubon Sustainable Awards, embedding long-term environmental practices that also deliver commercial benefits. More recently, I became a certified Food Waste Expert with The Pledge, allowing me to help businesses cut carbon emissions, reduce waste costs, and enhance their ESG performance through practical, data-led strategies.

I work with independent and branded hotels to improve operational performance, profitability, and environmental impact, helping them implement sustainability frameworks, reduce waste, and achieve recognised green certifications. Working with hotels to achieve frame works like Green Key has given me a great sense of achievement to know we are improving the way hotels do business within the local community and overall impact on the planet.
